“This book has become a sort of love note to my children, and to my town. I’m so thankful for the people and spaces that serve as the backdrop for the beautiful memories we’ve made.”

- Kathleen Reilly Streicher

This summer stroll was brought to life by the words and artwork of two local moms from Cranford, NJ. Kathleen (raised in Toms River, NJ, currently in Cranford) and Meg (raised in Westfield, NJ, currently in Cranford) both believe in the healing and connective experience of enjoying the outdoors with people you love. They are thrilled to share this project with their community.

Kathleen Reilly Streicher

The Author

For as long as she can remember, Kathleen has loved writing and exploring the outdoors. As a writer and published poet, Kathleen wrote this book to share that love with others, and to encourage families to get outside and notice all there is to see, hear, touch, and feel around them. In the summer, Kathleen can be found on beauty hunts or coffee runs with her two children and husband in and around Cranford, NJ.

Meg Solebello

The Artist

Since Meg was a child, she has always been inspired by nature, and found the most joy in creating. After having her children, Meg left her Advertising Career in NYC, to connect with the people of her community and pursue her art career as The Cranford Creative. You can usually spot Meg at Track 5, or around town covered in paint. In the summer, you can find Meg and her family around Cranford on bike rides, at Mohawk or Nomahegan Park fishing, at the town pools and restaurants, or down the shore. At home you can find Meg with her family always singing, listening to music, involved in a game night, movie night, or some sort of art project.
